Vegetables

  • 1.5 lb Cabbage
  • 1 lb Mushrooms
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Carrot
  • 3 cloves Garlic

Spices and Seasoning

  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 tablespoon Tomato paste
  • Parsley for garnish

Cooking Steps

  • Cut cabbage into thin strips using a chef's knife.
  • Chop an onion and carrot.
  • Heat 6 tbsp. oil in a pan, add chopped onion, and stir for about 3 minutes or until fragrant.
  • Add carrot and cook for 10 minutes, stirring over medium heat.
  • Add mushrooms and cook for 9 minutes, stirring over high heat.
  • Add minced garlic and stir for 2 minutes.
  • Add cabbage, cover the pan, and cook for 5 minutes.
  • Add salt, black pepper, and paprika, stirring for 4 minutes over medium heat.
  • Add tomato paste and stir for another 5 minutes over medium heat.
  • Sprinkle with parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Serve as a vegetarian main dish or as a side dish for meats.
