  • 10 oz salted caramel sauce store-bought or homemade
  • roasted nuts, chopped for topping
  • apples sliced, for serving
  • pears sliced, for serving
  • ginger snaps for serving
  • pretzels for serving

  • In a medium-small serving dish, layer one-third of the cream cheese followed by one-third of the caramel sauce.
  • Repeat layering two more times. Can be covered and chilled until ready to serve.
  • When ready to serve, sprinkle with chopped or roasted nuts of your choice.
  • Serve with plenty of freshly sliced apples, pears, ginger snaps, or pretzel chips.

Notes

You can opt to stir the cream cheese spread and salted caramel together into a smooth, velvety dip instead of layering. To keep sliced apples looking fresh, toss them with generous splashes of orange juice or pineapple juice.
