Note 1: If you can find pre-cooked, seasoned, and shredded pork at your grocery store, it makes this recipe super easy! Check near the rotisserie chicken. If unavailable, you can cook and shred pork in a slow cooker or double the ham instead. Don’t use pre-cooked pork in BBQ sauce. Note 2: Sea salt flakes are large, so you can’t substitute them directly with fine salt. If using fine/table salt, add just a small pinch instead. Storage: These Cuban Sliders are best fresh, but you can store leftovers in airtight containers in the fridge. They will get softer and a bit soggy over time.
