Pineapple Ingredients
- 1 pineapple top, bottom, and skin removed
- 0.25 cup brown sugar
- 2 Tablespoons maple syrup
- 0.5 teaspoon coarse sea salt to taste
Grilling Instructions
Preheat your grill to 350 degrees F.
In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar and maple syrup.
Slice the pineapple into ¾ inch thick round slices. Use a spoon to put a dollop of the brown sugar mixture on each slice and evenly distribute it over both sides.
Place the pineapple on the grill grates and cook for 4-8 minutes per side or until you have nice char marks and the pineapple is heated through.
Transfer to a serving platter and lightly sprinkle with coarse sea salt. Serve as a side dish or top with ice cream for dessert.
