Ingredients
  

Chicken and Sauce

  • 6 pieces chicken thighs
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • cup soy sauce
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 2 tablespoon sriracha sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 inch ginger
  • 1 tablespoon corn starch mixed with ¼ cup water
  • 1 red pepper cut into squares
  • 1 white onion cut into squares
  • 1 serving cooked jasmine rice for serving

Garnish

  • Green onions
  • Sesame seeds
  • Sliced red chili

Instructions
 

Cooking Instructions

  • In a bowl mix together soy sauce, honey, sriracha, garlic, ginger, corn starch.
  • Cut chicken into cubes and season with salt and pepper and place into sauce bowl. Let rest for 30 minutes, or overnight.
  • Place large pan over medium-high heat and remove chicken from sauce and sear with onions and red pepper.
  • After 4 minutes, pour remaining sauce into the pan and allow to bubble and reduce for 5 minutes. Add green onions into pan just before serving.
  • Serve chicken on bed of rice and garnish with sesame seeds, more green onions, and red chili.

Notes

For a spicier version, increase the amount of sriracha sauce.
