Ingredients
  

Rice and Coconut Mixture

  • 200 g glutinous rice
  • 20 cl coconut milk
  • 70 g brown sugar
  • 1 mango
  • 2 teaspoon sesame
  • 1 pinch salt

Preparation Steps

  • Rinse the glutinous rice in cold water 2 to 3 times and soak it for at least 3 hours.
  • Then rinse and drain it, and steam it for 25 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, gently heat the coconut milk, add salt and sugar, then stop cooking as soon as it boils.
  • Peel the mango, cut it into cubes, and reserve.
  • Once the rice is cooked, transfer it to a bowl and gradually add the coconut milk, allowing the rice to absorb it well.
  • Let it rest for about 15 minutes.
  • Serve the rice in bowls, add the mango cubes, and drizzle with the remaining coconut milk.

Notes

This dish can be enjoyed at breakfast or as a dessert. Allow enough time for the rice to soak for a proper texture.
