  • cup melted butter
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups flour
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F and grease a loaf pan with butter.
  • In a large mixing bowl, mash the bananas with a fork until smooth.
  • Stir in the melted butter, brown sugar, egg, and vanilla. Mix until the batter is thick and smooth.
  • Add the flour, cinnamon, salt, and baking soda to the bowl and mix again.
  • Pour the banana bread into the prepared loaf pan and bake for about 50 minutes.
  • Cool the bread in the pan, then slice and enjoy!

Notes

Stir in ½ cup chocolate chips before baking for a delicious chocolate chip banana bread.
