Ingredients
  

Meat and Dairy

  • 1 lb breakfast sausage hot or mild or turkey
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened

Vegetables and Spices

  • 1 can Rotel diced tomatoes and green chiles drained well

Baking Supplies

  • 1.5 cup baking mix like Bisquick
  • 2 cup Mexican blend shredded cheese

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • Place all ingredients in a large bowl and combine well. Let sausage and cheese sit out for easy mixing by hand or use an electric mixer.
  • Scoop sausage mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment paper-lined rimmed baking sheet.
  • Bake for 18 – 20 minutes, or until brown. If frozen, add an additional two minutes to the cook time.

Notes

The sausage mixture is sticky. Resist the urge to add more biscuit mix.
