2lbboneless skinless chicken breasts or thighs, cut into 1 inch piecesalternatively use beef tips

0.5cupgrated Parmesan cheese
0.75cupshredded Parmesan cheeseto be added at the end
Seasonings
3clovesminced garlic
1tablespoongarlic powder
1tablespoonItalian seasoning
1tablespoonolive oil
1teaspoonsalt & pepper

Spray the inside of the crockpot with non stick spray then add all ingredients EXCEPT the shredded Parmesan cheese to the slow cooker and stir to mix well.
Cook on HIGH for 2-3 hours or LOW for 4-6 hours.
Top with shredded Parmesan cheese. If you turn off the slow cooker and let it sit with the lid on, the cheese will melt in a few minutes.
